Nan also sold her computer software business for a profit. Nowadays, Nan focuses her efforts on her latest business venture, Nan McKay Connects.

Through this company, Nan empowers women by providing resources for business success through quizzes, podcasts, YouTube channels, books, and courses.

Her current passion involves developing a system to save small business owners time and effort by building customized quizzes, webinars, and email sequencing targeted to specific client markets.

Nan's accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, as she was named the 2019 California Woman Business Owner of the Year. In addition, two buildings in Minnesota have been named after her.
