Gathering for Women, Monterey, CA Gathering for Women provides the care, the support, and the dignity a woman needs to remain safe and healthy as she seeks affordable housing and a more sustainable and secure future. Set Free Monterey Bay Fighting Human Trafficking and Creating New Futures : Set Free Monterey Bay is an anti-trafficking organization established to assist adult women (ages 18 and over) sex trafficking survivors to find healing in a restoration home and to educate the Monterey Bay community about human trafficking. G.I. Josie, Inc. GI Josie provides non-clinical programs and support to women veterans ( and their children) who endure PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Please join in to help us reach our goal of creating a transitional ranch community on which our women veterans and their children can live and Heal&Conquer from their service borne traumas.
I -HELP, Monterey, CA I-Help offers homeless women short-term lodging and evening meals on a nightly basis during their stay in the program and provides tailored advice and support in finding a job so they maintain a positive outlook and living pattern that fosters personal autonomy and growth. The Light-House Recovery Program Inc., Fresno, CA PWN’s Gina Estrada Funding has been used to empower women by providing both educational job readiness classes and hand-on work experience, preparing disadvantaged women for the market place. We appreciate the generosity of the individuals and businesses who help us support these local non profits. |
