It Takes Two to Tango...and Knowing the Steps! Venus and Mars at Home and at Work

with guest speaker Donna Bailey, MS

As humans, it is impossible to separate our lives into sections and put them away as we move from home to work or even more difficult when our businesses are home-based. Relationships in the workplace and in our personal lives can be challenging for many reasons, one of which is the different ways men and women communicate.

We are not aware, nor have we been educated to understand gender needs and differences in the world of work and our more personal relationships. In order to find greater satisfaction and success, it is essential that we learn more about the needs women and men have in the realm of communication. Our businesses thrive, and our personal lives are happier, allowing us to give much needed attention to growing our businesses and thriving in our jobs.

The address will focus on gender differences and communication in both arenas. Tips for resolving conflict, increasing the success of talking about issues, creating a team together and developing and maintaining an environment of shared goals will depend greatly on the knowledge about how we best function as men and women.

Donna Bailey, MS is a Coach, Speaker and Writer and Founder of Donna’s Big Red Chair. An MS in Human Development, she is passionate about relationships between men and women and loves educating about how best to cross the “divide” to create happier personal lives and more productive business lives.

Gender differences are a product of our brains and socialization, and even as many things have evolved along gender lines, there is still a lack of education and understanding of just what men and women need in order to work and live together well. She welcomes every opportunity to share her knowledge, personal and professional experience in this area because she’s seen the results!

Donna currently shares her time between the Bay Area and the Monterey Peninsula, seeing clients, speaking and currently writing a book on Dating and Relationships for Grown-ups. She sees clients one on one, offers workshops, and speaking engagements that focus on relationships and how to improve them.

November 1, 2017, Bay Park Hotel, Crazy Horse Restaurant, 1425 Munras Avenue, Monterey, CA.
